Elite Motor Group is very pleased to have the opportunity to offer what many consider to be one of the most collectible Thunderbirds!  This car is a factory original Sports Roadster, 76B on the body tag, that is also a Factory M-Series (5th Digit of the vin) car with the High-Compression, tri-power equipped 390 cid V8 making 340 HP.  Only 1,427 sports roadsters were built in 1962 and of those, a mere 120 had the 6-barrel Tri-Power setup from the factory.  According to the thunderbird restoration guide, only 41 of these are known of and this car is listed among those.  This Thunderbird is not extremely rare but it is an exceptionally nice example throughout!!  It has been repainted in proper Rangoon Red while its black interior, Trim, Brightwork, etc… remain largely original and well maintained as the car has been sparingly driven and carefully kept by enthusiast owners.  Beyond the aforementioned rarity, other notable features include factory air conditioning, power windows, power soft top, Kelsey Hayes Chrome Wire Wheels with brand new wide white walls, power steering with tilt away column, power brakes, power drivers seat and chrome engine compartment dress-up package that was standard on M-Series cars.  Whether you are a Ford enthusiast or are simply in the market for a fabulous vintage car you’ll find no disappointment with this beauty!!  We encourage you to inspect the car in person or call us at (480) 922-6242 with any questions or to arrange an appointment.
